I cannot wait to learn more about you and your goals.​​ I suspect you might like to learn a bit about me before deciding to work with or contact me.

No matter which of my passions I am working on, I give my all. Whether to the animals and homes I care for - even better than my own - to my Tarot clients, my Substack publication, or my editing clients. One of my greatest purposes in life has long been to offer the utmost care and empathy possible to others. Only recently I have learned how to set much better boundaries for my own well-being's sake. I am happy to share those life tools and more with anyone interested.​

 

Stepping into a new career, and freshly out of college at middle age, I chose to start my second business following two passions: editing for creative writers and reading tarot cards. And shortly after this began, the Universe gently guided me towards adding my empathy into the mix where pet care is concerned. 

 

I graduated in August 2021 from Colorado State with a degree in English and a Creative Writing concentration. One semester away from becoming a student teacher. Thanks to the pandemic, I changed my path.

 

I finally saw the glaring signs of my passion for creative writing, helping other writers, and re-embracing my love for the mystical arts through Tarot and, later this year I will add Astrology. It's all so exciting! Especially since I thought I never wanted to own another business. That's par for the course for someone who feels ill-suited to working in the stereotypical corporate world.

On to my experience...

Although I have been reading oracle cards for myself for over 20 years, I have only been learning and practicing Tarot on myself and through writing since the Autumn of 2024.

I am on track to receive my Tarot Advising Certification through Biddy Tarot's intensive course later this year. I'm still working on my consistency in posting socially, but most consistently I share on Substack for now. It's a fabulous writing community, which I also hope to engage with for my creative writing in the midst of my other passions.​

If this concerns you about my pet-sitting ability, never fear. Just as my two human (now adult) children have always been my greatest priority and love, when your pet(s) are in my care, they are treated as if they are my human children and my first priority. I have had pets and cared for other animals all of my life.

​

Pet sitting, Tarot Advising, and Editing all work so well together since I can work anywhere there is wi-fi and a safe place for the animals and me. Yay, technology!

​

In my spare time, especially when the weather is appropriate, I love being outdoors. Usually on my paddleboard, or anything involving water. The image at the top of the page is from a trip with friends when we paddle boarded down the Colorado River in Arches National Park near Moab! I also love any time I can get with my amazing spouse and grown sons. What a surreal ride being a parent, especially now that they are young adults and taller than me! Eek. lol
