Tarot Advising
What do Tarot cards do?
Tarot cards mirror for us what we might already know about the answers to our questions; they also act as confirmation of the next steps we could take, our hopes and dreams, or how we can prepare for something. We can ask the Tarot cards so many questions and use them to help guide our lives.

Can Tarot cards predict the future?
We can ask specific questions about the potential of the future within some spreads. However, what happens is ultimately up to the person receiving the reading and the actions they choose to take. It's about the possibilities of the future. It's always up to you what actions you decide to pursue.
Are they magic?
While they are fascinating and have a mystical touch, they are not magic. However, it might sometimes feel like magic because they are so good at matching our energy. This is why they are a powerful spiritual tool for clarity, focus, and advice.
Do you need special skills to read the Tarot?
Anyone can read the tarot. The best readers are open and trusting of their intuition, but also perpetual students of learning the symbolism within the cards. If two different readers were to pull the same cards for the same questions, each might interpret them in various ways depending upon what they notice first and foremost, but also based on their previous experience with the cards.
Are readings accurate?
If the reader is open and trusts their intuition, and also has knowledge of the symbolism, they can be incredibly accurate. The more experienced the reader, the more accurate the reading. However, you might find some newer readers with wild accuracy, because the cards are ultimately mirroring your energy. Not every reader is for everyone. I do believe that we choose the readers we are meant to because they have something we need to hear.
What if I am unsure or scared to get a reading?
Despite some of the names and images on the cards that evoke fear, a reading with the tarot cards is nothing to be afraid of. The reputation that Tarot has is unfortunately and largely due to the exaggerated fictional use of it in movies and films. We're taught to take them literally, but there is so much more depth to them than those forms of entertainment convey.
Writer's Edits
Can you be my editor for everything?
As much as I would like to edit at every stage, I am not experienced in the other levels of the editing process. My skills are best utilized in the beta reading and the developmental stages. Which means I will read your work and give you a "reader response" with my 1-2 page review of things that work well, plot or character inconsistencies, overused or inappropriate cliches, tropes, etc. I will also leave in-line comments. The in-line comments will be more populated in a developmental edit than beta reading.

Is a contract required?
Yes. It's a way to protect us both. It's my guarantee that I will get the work completed that we agreed upon for your goals. You guarantee to me that you will reimburse me for the time and energy I put into providing you professional feedback.

Are you going to rewrite my work?
No. While I offer suggestions, it is your ultimate decision on what to keep and what to change.
How long will this process take?
That depends on the length of your manuscript, be it poetry, short story, memoir, novel, or novella. It also depends on my work load and availability at the time. It's best to book a free, virtual consultation to talk more about these details, your specific goals and see if we are a good fit.

Which platforms do you use for feedback?
I use Microsoft Word and Google Docs the most. However, if you are looking for tracking changes, Word is preferred. I can also use Adobe Acrobat.
Pet Sitting
How much attention will you give my pets?
I will do my very best to adhere to a routine your pets are used to. I will give them as much or as little attention as they would like. Every pet is different. Some like walks, others do not. Whether we walk or not, I will employ my awareness, empathy, and what you've shared with me so that I can give them whatever amount of attention and interaction they desire.

Will you be staying at my home, or will I bring my pets to your home?
I will require to stay at your home. My current kitty is a solitary girl who cannot be around other cats, nor does she care for dogs and only tolerates a select few who leave her alone. Most importantly, your animals benefit most by staying in their home environment with their things and where your scent acts as a safety blanket for them.

Will you use my things and eat my food?
Only if and what you give me permission to use. Otherwise, I will bring everything I should need, groceries included. I would appreciate wi-fi and shower access.

My pet requires medication. Do you have experience with administering those?
Yes, I have experience with giving both my pets and client's pets their required medications and optional supplements fur baby parents expect them to receive.

How often will I receive updates on my animals?
That is up to you. I am happy to offer daily updates, but I will follow your lead on what you would like. I am always taking pictures of the cuties I care for, so I will undoubtedly send you their pictures so you see how they look to be doing.
